My main drum kit is the
Red Maple Sonor Designer Series with a 20" bass drum and 10," 12," 13"
and 15" tom toms. I use a Sonor Lite 6 1/2" snare and a 5" Designer
series snare.
I also use a Force 3000 kit with a 20" or 22" bass drum - 10" 12" 14"
and 16" tom toms.
My "jazz" kit is a Sonor Force Custom set with an 18" bass drum - 12"
mounted tom and 14" floor tom.
I endorse Sonor drums and Sabian Cymbals.
I use an array of Sabian Cymbals - mainly HH (Hand Hammered) for a
darker, warmer sound. My ride cymbal's range from 20" to 22" -- I use 8"
and 10" splash cymbals -- a 20" China and many different crash and
effect cymbals.
I use different drumheads. Sometimes the Aquarian response2 or the Remo
Emperor and coated or clear Ambassadors. Mainly I use Clear Ambassadors
on the bottom and the Response2 or the clear Emperor on top. I use
coated Ambassadors for the snares and all coated Ambassadors on my
smaller jazz kit.
My drum pedals are DW 5000 and the single Camco.
